The Lodge is really spacious and has all the luxury touches, The cottages, though smaller, have equally stunning views, thoughtful layout for comfort and leisure. Great wifi connection and DSTV for those who want it. We also had the most incredible, delicious breakfast buffet. But really it is all about the quiet, majestic beauty of the gorge. Truly spoiled.

Lions Valley Lodge is situated within the Nambiti Private Game Reserve, home to the Big Five as well as antelope and an abundant birdlife. The lodge features an infinity pool and free WiFi. gorgeous location, beautiful cottages and set up, clean and comfortable and the staff were phenomenal. We felt like honored family. In addition, the food was all fantastic, especially the home made chocolate rusk!

Un bellissimo cottage di legno immerso nella natura selvaggia, a pochi km dal Sani Pass. Meraviglioso il risveglio con il suono del fiume e gli uccellini. Proprietari molto disponibili e gentili, ci hanno rilasciato un voucher nel loro ristorante al centro, dove abbiamo fatto un’ottima colazione. Located 27 km from Ladysmith, Cheetah Ridge Lodge is situated within the Big 5 Nambiti Private Game Reserve, which boasts the Big 5 with a variety of other species and amazing birdlife. Very attentive and friendly staff - a lovely experience! Our game guide, Colin, made sure we saw all the Big six (included hippos) plus many other animals, while providing lots of interesting facts, and hosting tasty morning-risers and sun-downers. Beautiful and comfortable accommodations. Lots of care and lots of special “extras” - we were well taken care of.
